Chance Clements has attended Victory Christian for 13 years and will be honored as a Golden graduate for doing such. He is a three year member of the varsity football team, he has had the honor of lettering twice and starting in the last two varsity games of his freshman game as well.
This 6 ft, 190 lb player has been a part of Victory football since the third grade. Chance’s 5th grade team won the state championship and he was asked to play on the CFL All Star Team the same year.
Chance has played defensive end, guard, center, line backer and he long snaps. Coaches have utilized Chance the last three years as a linebacker and long snapper. However Chance’s greatest asset is his mind for the game. Victory coaches throughout the years have commented on his ability to read the field/play quickly and effectively.
Currently Chance runs a 5.0 40 yard dash, 3.9 pro shuttle with a 375 lb squat and 225 lb bench press, he is working with a former Pro NFL player to improve his long snapping. The additional coaching has allowed his snaps to be quick and crisp with increased accuracy.
In addition to football, Chance is a two year member of Chaplains Counsel at Victory and is very active in his teen youth group at Victory Christian Center. In addition, Chance volunteers his time with Victory Bus Ministry as well as Kids Against Hunger. He has participated in five mission trips to Mexico and Jamaica. Moreover, Chance is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars, holds a 3.0 GPA and serves as an Element intern for Victory Christian Centers 24/7 Youth program.
Chance desires to play college football while obtaining a degree in Business/Restaurant Management after which I plan on opening his own restaurant. Chance would like to use his restaurant to fund additional mission trips abroad.
